Pratima's Peaceful Warrior Golden Milk
Ingredients
1 cup milk, organic grass-fed or unsweetened almond
1/2 inch slice fresh ginger (or 1/4 teaspoon powdered)
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 inch slice grated turmeric (or 1/8 teaspoon powdered)
1 pod of cardamom (or 1/8 teaspoon powdered)
2-3 saffron threads
1/2 teaspoon honey
Directions
Over medium heat, add all ingredients except the honey to a small pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes. Pour into a glass, and let cool slightly. Add honey to taste, and serve. If using fresh ginger, turmeric, or cardamom instead of powder versions, be sure to strain before adding honey.
Ingredient sourcing
Whenever possible, source local, organic ingredients to maximize your body’s intake and assimilation. If you wish to substitute with non-dairy products, we recommend organic nut or oat alternatives.
