Indian barberry is known to clear blemishes and support a luminous brighter skin and a healthy complexion with consistent use.These antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties primarily come from the compound Berberine which is extracted from the roots, bark, stem and leaves of the plant.
Red Sandalwood
A variety of sandalwood that has always been held in high esteem in Ayurvedic medicine. A natural anti-inflammatory, red sandalwood provides an effective remedy for cooling, calming and soothing the skin and helps to lighten scars and impart a smooth, supple complexion.

I use this as a light moisturizer some days and as a heavier spot treatment on other days. It smells lovely too.
This visibly reduced a scarred mark from a blemish on my face right at my hairline that was probably a few years old at the time. It took some time, I used it a few years ago and used almost the whole bottle over time, never replaced it. Several years later, that mark is still faded compared to what it was and now just blends in.
This lotion really works on making my skin tone more even - especially where I have dark marks from pimples. I’ve been using it on and off, depending on the state of my skin, for nearly 20 years.
The Manjistha Discoloration Lotion does help to fade discoloration of the skin. It is slow acting, but progress can be seen. It has a very pleasant light citrus smell and does not feel sticky on the skin.

The Manjistha lotion targets my scars and other hyperpigmentation. It has a lovely subtle citrus smell, goes on light but is moisturizing. I use it with the Bakuchi oil. This has brightened and evened my complexion.
Manjistha Discoloration Lotion smells good and is light weight. I am yet to see a difference in my skin discoloration but perhaps it is too early to tell. Pratima products are all natural which is the best I can give to my skin and body.
I use this along with the rare earth mask, bakuchi skin brightening oil (mixed with the liposomes vitamin c serum) to help with acne scaring and have found it so helpful in decreasing their appearance over time.
