Vata Herbal Cleanser

I have used this product for years, it keeps my skin from breaking out and makes it super soft and smooth.

Has just the right amount of exfoliation. I use it every night. I love mixing the paste in my palm to just the right consistency. Also, like everything Pratima, it smells great.

I like this cleaner as a gentle morning exfoliant. It seems to clean without stripping and leaves my face feeling soft. I use a balm-to-cream cleanser at night to remove makeup but this one is my go-to in the morning.

For years I used I used the Pitta cleanser and loved it: the texture and scent. I took the online Pratima Dosha quiz and the Vata cleanser was recommended. I thought perhaps it was time for something new, so ordered it. I discovered it was too coarse and irritating to my very sensitive skin and that Pitta is a better product for me.

I love how this powder mixed with water becomes a paste. It feels so good on my skin at the end of the day, taking off all the dead skin, leaving my face so clean and fresh.

Unlike other exfoliators, this one does not feel like it's creating microtears on my face! It is certainly effective because I can see the difference when I forget to use if for a couple of weeks. Also I love how natural the smell is--not perfumey.

This product will change the very texture of your skin. I does this for me. My skin is smoother, refreshed and it lasts. LOVE THIS. For me, it's Pratima products all the way ~~~!

I took the Dosha quiz about 10 years ago, so I decided to retake the quiz. To my surprise (but not really), my dosha changed. One of my new purchases was the Vata cleanser. I love it! It smells great, and also has a softer feel on my skin than the Pitta cleanser. It still has the graininess that I love. After using this cleanser, my skin feels exfoliated, soft, and moisturized all at once. I will always be a fan of Dr. Pratima's products. Over the years I've tried other items, and am always drawn back to this amazing line of skin care. I highly recommend!

I truly love this product, Vata Herbal Cleanser. For many years I had been purchasing the Kapha Herbal Cleanser and loved it, until recently after I lost 45 pounds and my dosha changed, I realized I was more of a vata dosha now. Since the change of product, my face is much more hydrated and incredibly smooth. It has been years since this was the case. Doing this along with dry brushing once a week has been a game changer. I love that it's a powder and not a chemical slathering of something. I also have the hair powder shampoo/conditioner that has also been so nutritious for my scalp. Thank you Pratima for your great work and products. You are much appreciated and the best products I have found out there.

This has become my favorite daily cleanser. I have sensitive skin and the Vata cleanser does not irritate my skin. It leaves my skin soft and smooth.

During a facial treatment at Pratima Spa, I learned that my adult skin isn’t oily — but actually dry. Vata. I have been using this cleanser for 10 years. I can’t live without it. It actually hydrates my skin….which isn’t at all what chemical exfoliators do. Can’t recommend this highly enough.

I love using this cleanser in the shower! It exfoliates gently and is great especially in the fall/winter when your skin may be more dry. I switch between this and the pitta cleanser in the summertime. Love it!
