My go to cleanser. I love how you can control the thickness by adding more or less water.

This is my absolute go to face wash!

My face always feels very clean after using the Pitta cleanser. It's not too harsh or rough.

Gentle yet thorough as a cleanser, it has had me hooked for over 15 years. I have rosacea and wouldn’t use anything else.

At first I thought the powder version for a cleanser was strange, now I know it is the best thing ever! while cleaning it is very gently exfoliating my face everyday, my skin glows like never before with it.

My daughter and I both use this cleanser. We have different doshas however the Pitta Herbal Cleanser works for both of us. Its gentle and non-irritating. We do follow up with our dosha specific Pratima oil.

I have acne prone and sensitive skin and I love how this gently exfoliates without stripping your skin. I'm often red and irritated after using "normal" products in the US. Not with this. It's been my go-to for years and years + never gets scanned at the airport because no water. especially clutch in europe. BLESS.

I go back and forth between the Pitta and Vata cleanser depending on the season, but both are incredible. I love using this as an exfoliator as well!

I was very skeptical about this kind of facial cleanser but I love it now and can’t turn back!! I have time so many products for my acne prone skin and this cleaners is so nice, it gentle exfoliates and I feel it feeds my skin, unlike chemical cleansers that strip the skin.

This cleanser leaves my skin truly soft and clean.

I have loved this cleanser for years. I so wish it could just be pumped out for ease of use but otherwise it is the best!

This is a gentle yet deep clean

I was already using Pratima face products when my daughter came into her teenage acne years. I began to buy kapha exfoliator for her, along with sandalwood and Neem products. She learned how to care for her skin. Now she is 19 and attends school outside of polluted NYC. Her skin looks phenomenal — so she has started using the Pitta cleanser for regular care. She still uses the Neem cream at night. (As much for the smell, which she loves, as anything else!) This combination is working very well.

Clears skin and refines texture. Amazing!

i have been using this cleanser ever since Pratima herself prescribed it to me over 7 years ago — and it is still the most thoroughly cleansing & nourishing one out there. it’s truly incredible how simple cleansing the skin should be … milk, lentils and some herbs … wonderful gifts from our Earth Mother. thank you Pratima.

Definitely not what I'm used to but I like that it's specifically for my Pitta skin. Still trying to get the hang of it.

I have been using this face cleanser for 6 months now and it is definitly one of my favorites. I am healing from acne breakouts all over my face, from white heads to hormonal on my jaw. I absolutely saw a difference once I started using this cleanser. It exfoliates but it is gentle enough that I can I use it twice a day. Before I was using Averr Aglow and then a different foaming wash and Pratima's is better than those absolutely. And it travels really well! I am giving four stars because although my skin is better and I think it is a good product, it was not mind blowing/ automatically healed my skin.

I have tried numerous exfoliating cleansers over the years and this is my absolute favorite! I have used it religiously and love the way it makes my skin feel.

I have sensitive skin and use the Pitta cleanser as a light exfoliator. The cleanser is not irritating and leaves my skin smooth and soft. I also love the light aroma of the cleanser.

I like this HERBAL CLEANSER. This product is perfect for my combination skin. Most of all I like that it does not dry out my skin as it happens from CLEANSER of other companies. And of course the completely natural composition pleases. The skin feels it.

Wow! I didn’t know what to expect, being I never used a powder cleanser before. I’m glad I purchased this for my combo skin.my skin feels extremely soft and the cleanser rinses well without residue. My new fave!

I have said this in other reviews but I'll say it again. The doctors royally did me with antibiotics for acne as a teenager. I became vegetarian and cleaned up my diet and began to look for herbal solutions. I came across her book more than 20 years ago. We were all told to clean our faces more and that oil was the problem. I took a chance on her products and put the right oils on my skin. It was a nirvana moment. Your face just screams YES! I love it. I do change products with the seasons and when I travel. I generally stay with the pita. Everyone is different. If you want to feel your best, give yourself a treat and try it. I guarantee any other products later will be a let down.
And, if you have teenagers, start them with these products. I can testify on any holy book the so called medicines from the doctor were worse than the acne. I take full credit for this review. I would give her 10 stars.

I love the Pitta cleanser. My face feels so soft afterwards and I’ve definitely noticed a change in the texture and appearance of my skin! No more breakouts :) I love the all natural ingredients.

It thoroughly cleans my skin but does not leave it feeling dry (unlike chemical cleansers in the market). My skin feels soft and nourished, but not oily. It is a wonderful cleanser and I haven't used any other cleanser since the day I found this! Can not recommend it enough for people with sensitive, blemished, acne prone skin!

Love this product as a daily cleanser. It gently exfoliates and leaves skin feeling clean and fresh.

I still use this face wash daily after about 9 years. It's so gentle and cleans my skin very thoroughly. It's a great exfoliant a few times a week when you let it slightly dry on your face for a few minutes before gently sloughing it off.
